Halloween is by far the best holiday of the year, and "DTV Monster Hits" is required watching for me every fall. If you don't remember "DTV Monster Hits," it was a one hour special that was basically a bunch of great 80s pop music (and earlier!) edited to all sorts of fun Disney animated clips.
Some of the segments were taken straight from features (like the lovely and totally creepy Heffelumps and Woozles from Winnie the Pooh), and some segments were basically totally awesome music videos. One of my favorites is the "Monster Mash" segment with clips (mostly) from Mickey Mouse's "Haunted House" which was released in December of 1929.
Absolutely perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit. Only two weeks to go!
