Desk progress

We finally moved into the new apartment over the weekend. After my car breaking down Thursday, losing my phone at IKEA on Saturday, and my cat going missing on Sunday for nearly 24 hours, it was definitely one of those most crisis-filled, stressful weekends of my life. But out of all of that comes the joy of being in a new home with the luxury of space and a fresh start.

I got my desk started on Sunday, as you can see above. I love my little zen area.

The living room has been making good progress, too, and Charlie is an expert shelf-hanger.

Mayor Charles was very helpful in getting my new desk put together.

The area that has the most potential in my eyes is our giant porch with an incredible view.

I think I want to use that open wall space for an herb garden of some kind.

The bedroom is just about set up, so I'll post some pictures of that soon. We get incredible daylight throughout the apartment during the day, so I can't wait to get some great pictures taken.
