Lately my projects have all been cross stitch. While I have a few things finished that are gifts and can't be shared here (yet) I have been working on some smaller projects that are easy to take around with me. I spend most of my breaks at work cross stitching and try to fit some in when I watch tv with Charlie or we're on a longish car ride.
But first I have to share this:

It took me a few days, but I wound all of my thread onto bobbins and organized them by shade. I love all the pretty colors! It also makes putting together palettes for new projects a much easier task.
One of the first projects I finished this summer was this:

It sums me up pretty well. So I got a super ridiculous frame for it from Target and hung it in my bathroom:

I also just finished a really great small project that is being sent to a friend of mine, I just need to get a nice hoop for it. Any tips on where to get nice, decorative embroidery hoop would be very welcome! More FOs to come!
