Stephen West strikes again.
I'm not sure if there is anything about this pattern that I don't like. Manos Maxima is like a nicer, more vibrant version of Malabrigo Worsted; soft, squishy, warm, and with great stitch definition. I personally like Maxima more. I feel like Maxima has a better selection of colors and the colors themselves are better dyed and don't bleed.
I kind of have a thing for stripes, and striping with grey is amazing because it's so versatile. Though grey really has a great personality when paired with a strong, bright, vibrant color. Like this amazing highlighter yellow. It's way too bold for me to wear on its own, but paired with grey? Yes. Please. Not to mention that the combination of textures is gorgeous and will keep the long loop of the cowl from being too much of a boring, repetitive knit.
