Alright y'all, tomorrow is the big day. The Ravellenic Games begin! Hopefully everyone has buddied up with a team or two and has projects lined up and ready to go!
This year I have quite a few entrants into the WIPs Wrestling event. I have lots of old projects that need to get done. This is absolutely the perfect motivation to get some stuff done.
Back in September 2011 I started a Levenwick cardigan and got through most of the shoulder increases before I got tired of reverse stockinette stitch and moved on. But I want to make it to wear this fall/winter! It's really a perfect piece for Austin winters.

This Color Bar Afghan from Happy Hooker has been in the works for a while. I've made all the squares and need to assemble it and weave in ends. Which takes forever.

This Chevron Baby Blanket is a free pattern from the Purl Bee, and being me, I set it aside for smaller projects. And now the baby that it's for is a member of society. So I should finish it! And I will!

The last is something I've picked away at, and should be able to finish very soon! Lungo is a stockinette cowl made out of a highly textured yarn called Nanuk by Berroco. I can't wait to finish it and wear it, like, all the time.

And then I have a few new projects that I'd like to tackle and hope to finish for the Ravellenic Games. The one I'm most excited about is Gauss by Berroco. It's knit up in Linsey, a linen/cotton blend. It's got some geometric shapes and a relatively simple construction. I'm in.

This one is a gift I want to make for a friend of mine ... a crocheted Dalek!

I'll also be designing a filet crochet tote bag for Team HCW for the Bag-n-Tote Backstroke. This one is the one I consider a stretch, seeing as I have to make up a chart and figure the whole pattern out. But using it for the Ravellenic Games will help me get started!
7 things ... I'm being ambitious, as always. But I think I can get a lot done! Hopefully all the while watching LOTS of Doctor Who ...
