this week in favorites

I've been spending all my time this week working on my paper (that I'm still revising/rewriting, and I'm giving it on Saturday, eeek!) so I have Doctor Who and media studies on the brain.

This morning this awesome song popped into my head and hasn't left yet ... It's 100% gibberish and 100% super duper catchy.

And this evening I found this incredible picture of Verity Lambert and sound engineers in the Sound Control room of Studio D at Lime Grove in the 1960s:

I love the bow tie on her blouse! Bow ties are cool.
