Yes. Fashion. Sports talk dudes keep giving Durant, Wade, James, and Westbrook a hard time about their threads during post-game conferences. I don't understand why, because I think they look fantastic. I'm 100% serious. Westbrook and Durant in particular are my favorite. They're clearly biting Donald Glover's style, but if there's anyone to use as style inspiration, it's Donald Glover. ("Less naughty, more nice.")

He's got the print top and nerd glasses down perfectly. The red glasses really are the best part, because you know they're a part of the look. And the red is definitely stand-out. It's also a good color on him.

My favorite part of Durant's attire is his backback (that he sported more last year than this year if I recall that correctly). It's totally pointless, but so are black frames with no lenses. The whole taking something functional and removing their function is probably the best part of their style. It's really no different than any other piece of attire distorted by designers and runway models. What's refreshing about Durant and Westbrook is that they're so obvious about it. There's a lot of pressure on them to live up to NBA standards, to set themselves up as role models, to be open and honest. I'm not sure you can get more honest about why you're wearing frames than wearing them without lenses because they're easier to see out without the lenses in them. I love it. It also draws some attention to how little importance their attire is off-court. What matters is what they're doing on the court, in their jerseys. The rest is just ... the rest.
I'm not going to bother talking about Dwyane Wade's pink pants with matching pink finger wrap, because that's clearly him trying WAY too hard to be matchy. Which is so the result of living in Miami.
