Over the past year I've become the go-to crochet expert at the shop. When someone has a crochet question they're sent my way. Back in December a customer asked for some help with this pattern, and I was immediately smitten. I'm pretty sure I started working on it a few days later. The bag itself only took a few days to crochet, but it took me forever to finally get around to putting in lining and attaching a handle. But now that I have, I'm in love.
I'm particularly happy with the lining I chose, even if there are exposed rough edges and uneven seams because I am the worst sewer in the history of people that sew things. But the color is perfect for my grey peacoat and I'm a sucker for paisley, so it's win-win really.
You can see my project details here, and queue it up on Ravelry here.
