spun simultaneously one year in the future

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

The roving was dyed by Chimera on Etsy. <3

And my current WIP: Abby by Amy Singer.

I'm knitting it up with Malabrigo Lace 100% Baby Merino on US6 Addi Turbos. I am so in love with it. If only Austin weather permitted more time for cowl wearing.

  1. How funny that I found your blog exactly as you did an update. I found you through the discussion about a Thursday knit night. I already RSVPed yes, I hope to see you there.

I think I basically want to be you when I grow up. I am very impressed by your spinning. My mother in law gave me her old Ashford traditional. Not only does it needs some work, I don't really know what that works needs to be. I think I may have to replace the flyer as the orifice is rusted and I don't think I can clean it up without maybe damaging the wood.

I'd love to meet spinners! I usually go to the knitting group on Wednesday at the steeping room (on meetup.com), and nobody there is a spinner.
